We have two ranges of hybrid IPBX: the A-Series, perfect for small companies 4-50 extentions, and the S-Series for enterprises between 50 and 500 extentions.


 

A-Series IPBX

The Cavoon A-Series IPBX, launched in 2008 is a state-of-the art, yet affordable, IPBX  which brings all the power of an expensive IP telephony system to small organizations up to 50 people. Its main features are:

With an AMD processor, and an 8 GB  Flash-Card the Cavoon A-Series IPBX has no moving parts. It is therefore silent, reliable and environmentally friendly. It comes in three versions: 4-10 extentions, 10-25 extentions and 25-50 extentions. Each version can either have a 2 BRI or a 4 BRI ISDN card. It runs a modified and improved version of  the Asterisk 1.4 open source software. Depending on the model the following features can be included or optional:

  • Choice between ISDN or VOIP for external calls.
  • Permanent VOIP connection monitoring and automatic switch to ISDN in case of Internet connection failure.
  • Automatic switch to ISDN for emergency numbers.
  • Free phone calls between remote subsidiaries.
  • Connection possibility to any SIP VOIP operator with savings opportunity on long distant calls of up to 98%.
  • Possibility of adding DIDs (Direct Inward Dialing numbers) from 60 different countries in order for international business partners to call in at local cost.
  • Simple choice of CID (caller identification number) before placing a call.
  • Call forwarding, 3-way calling, voice-mail, directories, click-to-call from Microsoft Outlook.
  • LDAP syncronization

S-Series IPBX 

The Cavoon S-Series IPBX is a tailor-made IPBX for enterprises between 50-500 extentions. Just like the A-Series it is based on the Asterisk open source software but runs on a Dell or HP server and it is custom build according to your needs. It is fitted with the appropriate ISDN cards and configured to the agreed specifications. Redundancy solutions can be added to increase reliability. The S-Series IPBX comes with a choice of maintenance and support packages that gives you the needed peace of mind.
